About BSA Pack 19 Cub Scouts

Our cub scouts and their parents have fun through earning achievements, serving the community, and going on adventures! 

Pack 19 was established 15 years ago in Benson, North Carolina.

Our pack meets every Monday at 7 PM during the school year at the Elevation Methodist Church. (5101 Elevation Rd, Benson, NC 27504)

BSA PACK 19 CUB SCOUT DENS

The cub scout pack is divided into dens based on grade levels.

LION

Kindergartners aim for the Lion rank by completing five adventures: Lion’s Honor, Animal Kingdom, Fun on the Run!, King of the Jungle, and Mountain Lion. Adult participation is mandatory, but only Scouts receive recognition. Elective adventures are optional.

TIGER

First graders aim for the Tiger rank by finishing six adventures, including Games Tigers Play and Tigers in the Wild. Adult participation is essential, but only Scouts get recognition. One elective adventure is also needed of your den’s or family’s choosing. Tigers have great fun and learning.

WOLF

Second graders pursue the Wolf rank by finishing six adventures like Call of the Wild, Council Fire (Duty to Country) Howling at the Moon, Paws on Path,  Running With the Pack, and Duty to God Footsteps. One additional elective adventure from their den or family is also required.

BEAR

Third graders aim for the Bear rank by completing six adventures, they have great fun completing Baloo the Builder, Bear Claws, Bear Necassities, Fellowship and Duty to God, Fur, Feathers, and Furns, and Paws for Action. Additionally, one elective adventure chosen by their den or family is required.

WEEBLOS

Fourth graders target the Webelos rank by being active members for three months and completing five adventures, including Cast Iron Chef, Duty to God and You, First Responder, Stronger, Faster, Higher, and Webelos Walkabout. Before Arrow of Light, they must also choose one elective adventure.

ARROW OF LIGHT

Fifth graders, after completing Webelos, target the Arrow of Light rank. They must be active in their Webelos den for six months and complete four adventures, like Building a Better World, Duty to God in Action, Outdoor Adventurer, and Scouting Adventure. They must complete at least one elective.

CUB SCOUT VALUES

Scouts prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. The Aims of Scouting are Character, Citizenship, Personal Fitness, and Leadership.

On my honor, I will do my best

To do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law;
